We also removed many of the redundant features such as the long opponent list which used up too many resources and frankly just wasn't needed because it is easy to search for any player to turn them into the current active player (WhiteRider was misten in his post above, we do not have plans to return the player list into PT4, the workflow is more efficient without that list, too many users were confused by it!).1) Harassment and/or abuse towards other users is not allowed in this subreddit under any circumstance. ![]() Our goal was to keep everything at your fingertips to keep from making PT4 hard to use. We also included COMMUNITY, this is our easy to access support system, which includes all of the most popular support guides and help available for PokerTracker 4. ![]() Have you seen these tutorials yet? You can find them by clicking on the Video icon as shown below. It is the most user friendly tool we have ever released, it is also the first version of PokerTracker that includes built in video tutorials to help remove any stress while learning how to use PT4. Our philosophy was to design Pt4 as if we were designing a browser, everything needed to be placed in a logical location, with easy to access right click shortcuts to speed along. It is interesting to hear you say that, because most PT3 users are telling us that PT4's interface is much more intuitive. But I would never have found my way to what you showed me. I have not opened it since about a week after I purchased it. If I have time I may say more when I have revisited PT4. I may have misunderstood, but it seemed to me that on the "PT3 bugs" thread dealing with the current 888/HUD problem there was a strong suggestion that future maintenance of PT3 was not certain. While I do not need it to be improved or enhanced, I did expect that it would be maintained. But I was satisfied that PT3 met and meets my needs (within the limitations of my abilities). I did not regret spending the money to investigate PT4. I have no great appetite for spending a lot of time and work on getting to grips with PT4 which seems far more sophisticated than I could use or probably need. I had learned (by no means easily) how to get what seems most useful to me out of PT3. But I have no flair for software and struggle to understand what I am getting with much of PT anyway. I could not see how to set the main stats table to give me recent history only. This gives me some indication of how players may have changed their styles over time, most importantly it helps to highlight the players who are improving their game and those who are static (or quite rarely in decline). In PT3 I have the main stats table set up to give me a six month history of the players. However, to me it is a little like having a racing car when all I need (and know how to drive) is a family saloon car. I bought PT4 very soon after I was told I could. I am opening this thread at the courteous invitation of StevenM.
